Reiki is a Japanese art of healing and self-empowerment discovered by Mikao Usui in 1922 and his healing system has been used in hospitals and healing practices all over the world. Reiki continues to evolve.
According to the Lightarian Institute, the energy of Reiki consists of eight vibrational bands.
Usui-based Reiki comprises the first vibrational band and creates the foundation for all Reiki energy work. Usui-based Reiki is an excellent place to start when learning about energy work.
Karuna Reiki® energies comprise the next level or second vibrational of Reiki. As the practitioner continues to evolve and expand their skills and accelerate their ascension process, he/she may progress to this second band of Reiki to utilize the powerful compassionate energy for self-healing of self and of others.
Lightarian Reiki® energies comprise the third through eighth vibrational bands of Reiki energy. Intended for Advanced Reiki Practitioners, this high vibrational energy comes directly from Ascended Master Buddha through Attunements.
